“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” Psalm 34:18
Want a new direction? Feel like the outside world is damaging your relationship? Want to enrich the healthy marriage you already have? Want to surround yourself with others experiencing the same concerns or desires you have in your marriage? Want to know how to communicate better in your relationship? Want to equip yourself with the tools to have a successful marriage in the future?
Then vote for marriage.
Sounds a bit like a political campaign, right? Well it is, and God is on the ballot. God wants you to not only invite him into your relationship, but vote him into your relationship. Giving him the chance to show you that with him you can revitalize, renew and reconcile. Not because he can give you false hope or quick fixes to a marriage which might be filled with distance or stress and pressures of every day life. Not because you might be in a relationship which isn’t satisfying due to a conflict or communication difficulties, or even a marriage which is bruised and even just content, but because he loves you enough to give you what you long for.
God wants you to be successful, happy, fulfilled and healthy in your marriage.
If you are a couple recovering from a trauma, crisis or other major hurt such as an affair, unemployment, death in the family, separation, or trying to decide whether to stay together; if you are a single person with the desire to know what a good and Christ-filled relationship should be, maybe you should come and see what our marriage campaign has to offer you. What do you have to lose?
Couples, divorcees, singles or widowed individuals who simply want to learn how to enrich their relationship, communicate better and honor what Christ intended are invited to visit us at Church On the Hill any Sunday morning, evening or Wednesday night in the month of June.
We will be ministering, rejoicing, sharing, praising and learning about God’s intention with marriage.
Abide in Christ and he will equip you to love, forgive, listen, pray and fight for your spouse and your relationship. We can’t fix our spouse, but our marriages will go a long way toward restoration when we allow Jesus to fix us.
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” Matthew 19:5-6
